Importing your Historics Links from Majestic SEO is a great idea!

If you have just created a new project then by importing your historic links from Majestic SEO your toolbar will know which sites you do and don't already have links from!

Follow the steps below to import your historics links. It assumes you already have a report created in Majestic.

NOTE: a maximum of 15,000 links can be imported in a single CSV file.

TIP: If you have a Majestic account you should also integrate your account with your toolbar then every month any Fresh Links will automatically be imported. Here's how to do that.

Step 1 - Click Reports & Tools > My Reports

Step 2 - Click on the historic report for your project domain

Step 3 - Ensure you have no filtering rules set for that porject

To do this click on the link circled below. Uncheck and empty all the boxes on the filters page and apply.

If you have done this successfully in the message shown below the number of links found before and after filtering will be the same

Step 4 - Click Download Options > Download Backlinks

Step 5 - Click the Prepare Download button

Step 6 - Click the Backlinks for 'yourdomain.com' link

Step 7 - Import your CSV file

1. Visit https://www.linkbuildingtoolbar.com/my-projects/ and choose the project you want to import to
2. In the Import Data box:
1. Select an overwrite rule
2. Click the browse button and select your local csv file
3. Choose Majestic SEO as your data format
4. Click Import Data

It may take a while to upload if there's a lot of information. Once it's finished you'll see a yellow box appear with the number of links which have been added.
